We wanted to let you know after the latest membership call with the Solar Energy Industries Association that SEIA analysts have identified potential direct pay for state and local governments and rural cooperatives through the newly enacted Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Big changes are coming quickly for folks wanting to upgrade or build facilities and implement clean, reliable, low-cost solar energy. The federal tax incentive for solar and other clean energy is now increasing to 30% of the project cost. SEIA is offering non-members an opportunity to hear a detailed explanation of these new IRA incentives from the experts this Thursday, September 1.
