Rooftop solar offsets a portion of energy requirements at Liberty Place, a multifamily housing complex that benefits veterans in need.  Solar Alliance designed and installed the rooftop array for the Knoxville Community Development Corporation or KCDC, in cooperation with several community partners and with technical backing from partners that included Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  The array is approximately 63.4 kilowatts.  Solar Alliance additionally has the capability to install battery energy storage systems or BESS when it makes sense with multifamily building arrays like this.
